Barrel-cooked Pork Loin

Ingredients

  • 1 whole thick pork loin
  • Season with QBA Flavor
  • Meat thermometer
  • (Optional) QBA Compound Butter for serving

Preparation

  1. Dry the pork loin well with kitchen paper.
  2. Season generously on all sides with QBA Flavor.
  3. Cook the loin until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F / 63°C .
    [Oven option: 300–325°F (150–160°C) ]
  4. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before cutting so that it doesn't lose its juices.
  5. Cut into thick medallions and, if you want to elevate it, serve it with a slice of compound butter on top.
