Compound butter with blue cheese

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (226 g) unsalted butter, at room temperature (soft, not melted)
  • 4 oz (113 g) of crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of QBA Fine Flavored Green Salt

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, mix the softened butter with the crumbled blue cheese.
  2. Add the olive oil, black pepper, and QBA Fine Flavor Green Salt.
  3. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until everything is well incorporated and full of flow.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a piece of parchment paper, form a tight roll and seal it well at the ends.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
Suggestion:
Cut a slice and put it on your hot meat to watch that butter melt as a tribute to the flavor!
