Compound butter with blue cheese
Ingredients
- 8 oz (226 g) unsalted butter, at room temperature (soft, not melted)
- 4 oz (113 g) of crumbled blue cheese
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of QBA Fine Flavored Green Salt
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix the softened butter with the crumbled blue cheese.
- Add the olive oil, black pepper, and QBA Fine Flavor Green Salt.
- Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until everything is well incorporated and full of flow.
- Transfer the mixture to a piece of parchment paper, form a tight roll and seal it well at the ends.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
