Mexican Rice

Ingredients:


1 cup of jasmine rice
2 glasses of water

1 tablespoon of ground annatto
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of QBA Flavor Fine Green Salt

Preparation:


In a pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the ground annatto and stir for a few seconds until it releases color and aroma.
Add the rice, mix well so that it is coated with the annatto.
Add the 2 cups of water and the Fine Green Salt.
Stir once, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook for 15-18 minutes or
until the water is absorbed.
Turn off the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Fluff it with a fork before serving.
